Apple Donates to Myanmar-Thailand Earthquake Relief Efforts
Apple CEO Tim Cook announced on X.com that the company will be donating funds to support relief efforts following a 7.7 magnitude earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand. The disaster, which struck Sagaing near Mandalay, has resulted in over 1,700 deaths and 3,400 injuries in Myanmar, with an additional 18 fatalities in Thailand. A second 6.4 magnitude quake followed shortly after, causing further damage. Apple's donation is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to disaster relief, which includes previous contributions to hurricane relief efforts in South Florida and other regions.
