Apple Intelligence Fails to Impress Consumers, Survey Finds

A recent survey suggests that consumers are not particularly impressed by AI features on their smartphones, with 73% of respondents stating that they don't add significant value to their experience. The survey included owners of Apple and Samsung devices, and revealed that the majority of users don't see enough benefit in smartphone AI to change their buying habits.

A survey conducted for SellCell involving Apple and Samsung smartphone owners found that AI features like Apple Intelligence are not impressive to most consumers. Approximately 73% of respondents said they either cared more about other features or that AI features added 'little to no value.' The timing of the survey may have skewed the results, as major AI features were released after the survey closed. When asked what AI features they had used, 72% of Apple users claimed to have tried out Writing Tools.
