Apple Maps Web App Emerges from Beta with Mobile Device Support

Apple Maps on the web has officially exited beta and now supports mobile devices, offering a new way for Android users to explore maps, search for businesses, and find directions.

Apple has officially transitioned its web-based Apple Maps service out of beta, making it fully available and adding support for mobile devices. The new version is accessible at maps.apple.com and works on both iPhone and Android smartphones. This move allows non-iOS users to explore the map, search for businesses, find directions, and view Guides using Apple's mapping service. However, some features like the transit map, 3D buildings, and saving places are not yet supported. The web app also includes the Look Around feature, which provides 360-degree panoramic views where available.
