Apple Podcasts Names Hysterical as Show of the Year

Apple Podcasts has named Hysterical its 2024 Show of the Year. The seven-part limited series from Wondery debuted in July and tells the story of a mysterious illness that spreads among high school girls in New York. Creator Dan Taberski was inspired by news stories about 'Havana syndrome' and drew parallels to an earlier case involving a group of young women.
