Apple Reissues watchOS 11.4: New Alarm Feature and Matter Support for Robotic Vacuums

Apple Reissues watchOS 11.4
Apple has re-released watchOS 11.4 to the public after initially pulling it down just two minutes after its initial release on Monday. The update introduces a new 'Break Through Silent Mode' alarm option, ensuring sound and haptics play even if Silent Mode is enabled. This feature is particularly useful for users who wear their Apple Watch to bed.
Additionally, watchOS 11.4 includes support for Matter protocol, enabling voice commands for robotic vacuums and mops. Users can control these devices with Siri, including starting or stopping cleaning tasks, returning the device to its dock, and switching between cleaning modes.
The update also brings several quality-of-life improvements, such as bug fixes and enhanced system stability. To update to watchOS 11.4, ensure your Apple Watch is charged to at least 50% and connected to Wi-Fi, then follow the prompts in the Settings app or through the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
