Apple Returns to X with Privacy-Focused Ads After 15-Month Hiatus
Apple makes a surprising return to advertising on Elon Musk’s X, months after halting over antisemitic content, with new campaigns for Safari and Apple TV.

Apple has resumed advertising on Elon Musk’s social network, X, as of this week after a 15-month pause that began in November 2023 when Musk endorsed an antisemitic post. The ads currently running on X promote Safari’s privacy features and Apple TV's show Severance. Other companies like Disney, IBM, and Comcast had also paused advertising but resumed by November 2024. Apple has not officially commented on the decision to resume advertising.
