Apple Rolls Out Beta 3 for Upcoming Software Updates, Paving the Way for WWDC 2025
Apple Releases Beta 3 for visionOS 2.5, tvOS 18.5, and More
Apple has released developer beta 3 for several upcoming software updates, including visionOS 2.5, tvOS 18.5, iOS 18.5, iPadOS 18.5, macOS Sequoia 15.5, watchOS 11.5, and HomePod 18.5. These beta versions are part of the company's ongoing preparations for major software releases at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June, which will introduce iOS 19, macOS 16, and other significant updates.
So far in the beta cycle, these updates have primarily focused on bug fixes, stability improvements, and minor feature tweaks. However, it is not uncommon for new features to emerge closer to the public release, as some changes may go unnoticed during early testing phases.
The release of beta 3 indicates that the software updates are advancing toward their public launch, expected in May. Given the minimal new features introduced so far, the beta testing period for these updates might be shorter than usual.
