Apple has released the second release candidate (RC) build of macOS 15.4, designated as 24E247, following the initial RC build 24E246 that was introduced on March 24, 2025. This update is part of a broader series of updates for Apple's operating systems, including macOS Sequoia 15.4, iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, tvOS 18.4, watchOS 11.4, and visionOS 2.4. The second RC is likely to include bug fixes or minor improvements over the first RC build. Among the notable changes in macOS 15.4 are enhancements to Apple Mail with the introduction of Apple Intelligence sorting and expanded language support for Apple Intelligence. Testers can download the update via System Settings, under General > Software Update.
