Apple Set to Unveil ‘Confetti’: A New Way to Organize Events and Invitations

Apple is set to launch a new iCloud service called 'Confetti' for organizing events and invites, possibly as early as this week.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is set to launch a new iCloud service codenamed ‘Confetti’ as early as this week. This service aims to provide a new way to invite people to parties, functions, and meetings, differing from the current Calendar app. The service is tied to iOS 18.3, which began rolling out last month. The app will integrate with iCloud and likely have additional features for organizing events, including a web version on iCloud.com and integration with GroupKit, a daemon that manages group data models. It will show a list of invitees and their confirmation status, aiming to simplify event planning.
