Apple has introduced version 2.4 of its Sports app for iPhone, enhancing user experience with several new features:

  • Expanded Soccer Coverage: The app now supports more soccer events including the FA Cup, EFL Championship, and League Cup.
  • Improved Navigation: Users can swiftly navigate between their favorite leagues and teams by swiping left or right.
  • Broadcast Information: Game pages now include details on where to watch national games, making it easier for users to tune in.

The app was initially released almost a year ago, offering a dedicated platform to track sports leagues and teams with Live Activities support on iPhone and Apple Watch. The latest update is available on the App Store. Additionally, the app will be useful for those planning to watch the upcoming Super Bowl rematch between the Eagles and Chiefs in New Orleans on February 9th, which can be streamed in 4K for free.
