Apple Store Temporarily Offline: Get Ready to Preorder the iPhone 16e

Preorder excitement hits as the online Apple Store goes down ahead of the iPhone 16e launch, a major upgrade with advanced features starting at $599.

Apple's online store has temporarily gone offline to prepare for the preorder launch of the iPhone 16e. Launched on February 19, this new entry-level model is a significant upgrade over the iPhone SE 3, featuring a 6.1-inch OLED display with Face ID, a rear 48MP camera that can function as a 2x telephoto, and is powered by the A18 chip with a 16-core Neural Engine. The device also supports advanced features such as Genmoji and Image Playground via Siri, and Apple's satellite-based services including Emergency SOS via Satellite. Preorders for the iPhone 16e will start on February 21, with availability from February 28, priced at $599 in black or white options, with storage capacities ranging from 128GB to 512GB.
