Apple Unveils $500 Billion Plan to Boost American Innovation with 20,000 New Jobs

Apple has announced a four-year, $500 billion investment plan in the United States, which includes creating 20,000 new American jobs. The company will open a new advanced manufacturing facility in Houston for server production to support Apple Intelligence and its Private Cloud Compute system. Additionally, Apple plans to double its US Advanced Manufacturing Fund, create a manufacturing academy in Michigan, and increase research and development across the country, particularly in silicon engineering, software development, and AI. As part of this initiative, Apple will commit $10 billion to skills development, including a significant investment in TSMC's Fab 21 plant in Arizona.
