Apple Unveils Final Cut Pro 11: AI-Powered Features & Spatial Video Editing

Apple has released major updates for its professional apps: Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Camera, and Logic Pro. These updates include support for Spatial Video editing, AI-powered features like Magnetic Mask and Transcribe to Captions, and improvements in user experience.
Final Cut Pro 11 introduces highly requested features powered by artificial intelligence and optimized for Apple Silicon hardware:
- Magnetic Mask: Isolate people or objects from a video clip without using a green screen or roto-scoping, ideal for customizing backgrounds and environments.
- Transcribe to Captions: Automatically provide closed captions for videos using Apple-trained AI models which are capable of transcribing spoken audio.
The update also adds support for Spatial Video editing, allowing users to import Spatial Videos taken with an iPhone 15 Pro or any device from the iPhone 16 range, and edit them on Apple Vision Pro through the Mac Virtual Display feature.
