Apple Vision Headset 2: Titanium and Dark Blue Make a Lighter, More Stylish Entry

Next Apple Vision Headset May Use Titanium to Cut Weight A new leak suggests that Apple may switch from aluminum to titanium in its next-generation headset, possibly dropping the 'Pro' designation and naming it simply 'Apple Vision' or 'Apple Vision Air.' The primary reason for this material change is weight reduction. While most of the exterior will remain aluminum, some internal structures will use titanium, which is stronger but more expensive and denser than aluminum.
The leak also mentions a new color option: a dark blue that resembles iPhone 5-era black. This could help Apple distinguish between different models visually, similar to how it differentiates between iPhone variants. However, the leaker, Kosutami, has a mixed track record of accuracy, making the veracity of these claims uncertain.
Apple's decision is likely influenced by wear and tear data from the current Apple Vision Pro headset, aiming to optimize material usage for better weight distribution and durability.
