Apple Watch Bands May Soon Monitor Your Health with Embedded Sensors

Apple has been granted a new patent related to wearable health monitoring. This isn't just an update on their previous patents - it appears Apple may be working to add even more advanced health features into future models of its smartwatches and mixed reality headsets. The patented design covers a stretchable band made from fabric, that can conduct ECG measurements or other health data from the wearer's wrist. The material would have conductive strands running through it, to carry both power and sensor information. This could be used for monitoring things like heart rate and blood pressure.
