The next-generation Apple Watch SE's rumored plastic design is facing significant challenges as the design team dislikes its appearance and it’s not proving to be more cost-effective.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the next-generation Apple Watch SE's rumored plastic design is facing significant challenges and may not proceed as planned. Design teams are unhappy with its appearance, while production costs are not significantly lower than those of the existing aluminum models.
