Apple Watch Series 10 vs. Series 9 and Earlier: How Much Thinner Is The Latest Model?

Apple Watch Series 10 is thinner and lighter compared to previous generations, featuring a new design with softer edges and larger displays.

The new Apple Watch Series 10 is the thinnest and lightest version of the wearable to date, with a thickness that is almost 10% less than its predecessors (Series 7-9) and about 50% thinner than the Apple Watch Ultra/2. It features larger screen sizes for both the 46mm and 42mm cases, which offer up to 30% more screen area compared to Series 6, and a wide-angle OLED display that delivers up to a 40% brighter screen when viewed from an angle. The new models are also lighter overall due to their thinner design and the use of titanium for high-end versions.
