Apple Watch Ultra 3 May Feature Life-Saving Satellite Connectivity

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports that the next Apple Watch Ultra could feature satellite connectivity for sending text messages when not-connected to Wi-Fi or cellular networks, which would be useful when off-grid without an iPhone. The upcoming watch is also expected to switch from Intel to MediaTek modems and get a boost from LTE to “lower-tier 5G service.” Apple continues to work on health features like blood pressure monitoring and noninvasive blood glucose tracking.
