Pixelmator, the company behind popular photo-editing apps for Apple platforms, announced on Friday that they will be acquired by Apple. This acquisition could potentially address one of the author's biggest complaints with the iPad - the lack of proper photo manipulation tools. The author hopes that Apple will make Pixelmator Pro or a similar app available on the iPad, with support for Apple Pencil, and not turn it into a subscription service.
