Apple's M4 Max Outperforms Top PC Chips in Geekbench Results
Apple's M4 Max chip outperforms top PC offerings from AMD and Intel, showing a 26% increase in performance compared to its predecessor, the M3 Max.

Apple's new M4 Max chipset has shown impressive performance results in early Geekbench tests, outperforming previous Apple Silicon chips like the M3 Max and M2 Ultra by around 26% and 24% respectively. It also competes with top PC chips on the market like AMD Ryzen 9 9950X and Intel Core i9-14900K, scoring higher in both single-core and multi-core tests. This performance comes even before the release of Apple's M4 Ultra chip expected mid-next year.
