Apple's Magic Mouse Charging Port Design: A Non-Issue
The Magic Mouse charging port design has been a topic of discussion since 2015, but the placement on the bottom is trivial and does not cause significant inconvenience. The battery lasts for at least a month and provides ample warnings before dying.

The newly updated Apple Magic Mouse now has a USB-C charging port, but it's still on the bottom — and that still doesn't matter. Critics have mocked this design choice since the mouse was first redesigned in 2015 to be rechargeable instead of having removable batteries, claiming the Port placement is inconvenient. However, the low battery warnings, combined with the ability to quickly charge the device just by plugging it in for a short amount of time (as users should do once they see a warning), mitigates the issue.
