Apple's New AirTags Feature: A Game Changer for Lost Luggage

Apple has upgraded the Find My app with support for sharing a link to the location of a lost AirTag or Find My network accessory, including partnerships that will see more than 15 airlines begin accepting Find My item location links.

Apple has upgraded the Find My app in the latest iOS 18.2 beta with support for sharing a link to the location of a lost AirTag or Find My network accessory. The new feature allows users to generate a link in the Find My app for a lost item, which can then be shared with other people to help locate it. Apple has partnered with more than 15 airlines that will accept Find My location links to help locate mishandled or delayed bags. iOS 18.2 is currently available to developers and public beta testers and will be released to the public in December.
