Apple’s Robotics Ambitions: Lamps and Beyond, But Not Anytime Soon

Apple's robotics projects, including a fascinating robot lamp prototype, are still in early stages and won't see mass production until at least 2028, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

Apple’s Robot Products Likely Won’t Launch Until 2028

According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple's robotics projects are still in the proof-of-concept stage and are unlikely to be mass-produced before 2028. The company is exploring both humanoid and non-humanoid robots for its future smart home ecosystem. A recently circulated video of an Apple-made robot lamp provides a glimpse into what these products might look like. While there has been speculation about a tabletop robotic Home product launching in 2026 or 2027, Kuo believes that the earliest we will see any robot products from Apple is 2028.
