Apple's Smart Glasses: A Distant Dream
Apple's ambition to create sleek smart glasses faces challenges of design, battery life, and display technology, with a potential release estimated within three to five years.

Apple's goal of producing smart glasses, tentatively dubbed 'Apple Glass,' is still a long way off due to challenges in creating light and useful eyewear. Although work is underway on a version using augmented reality, nothing is expected soon. Apple has to solve issues involving making the product lightweight, with suitable battery life and displays, while keeping costs low for consumers. Current speculation suggests that Apple will take three to five more years to perfect the concept.
