Apple's Vision Pro Wins Popular Science Gadget of the Year

Popular Science magazine has named the Vision Pro as its 'gadget of the year' alongside overall innovation of the year, recognizing the significant technological leap this headset represents in the AR space and praising its seamless user interface and visual quality.

Popular Science has named Apple's Vision Pro as the gadget of the year, also selecting it as the overall innovation of the year. The publication acknowledged the high price of the device but stated that it marks a new direction for the company. The headset features a 23-million-pixel screen and offers more than 4K quality to each eye. It is a true AR device with external cameras providing a real-time view of the outside world into the display, and virtual displays integrating seamlessly.

The Oura Ring 4 won the award for the best personal care device. The model, which launched on October 3, is more comfortable due to flatter sensors within the band. The accompanying app has been redesigned, offering a customizable platform that turns data from the ring into insights on sleep quality, recovery, stress, fitness, and fertility.
