Atto's Thunderbolt 5 Adapters Revolutionize Mac Media Production with Unmatched Speed and Flexibility
Atto Technology has introduced two Thunderbolt 5 adapters at NAB Show 2025: the ThunderLink TLFC-5642 and ThunderLink NS 5102. These adapters are designed to support uncompressed 8K video editing, high-speed media transfers, and multi-user post-production workflows in macOS environments. The ThunderLink TLFC-5642 features dual 64Gb Fibre Channel ports for SAN-based 8K editing with ultra-low latency and stable throughput. The ThunderLink NS 5102 is a dual 100Gb Ethernet adapter that supports high-speed media transfers, remote and cloud-based pipelines, and low-latency performance. Both adapters are built around Intel's Thunderbolt 5 architecture, which offers up to 120Gbps of bi-directional bandwidth and retains backward compatibility with Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 systems.
