Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC), which manufactures the processors for Apple's iPhones, iPads, and Macs, is struggling to remain neutral as tensions between China and the U.S. continue to increase. In October, the U.S. Department of Commerce began investigating a possible sanctions breach by TSMC, related to blocks on Huawei accessing components from U.S. companies without prior approval.
