Blackmagic's New $30K Camera Lets You Shoot 8K 3D Video For Apple Vision Pro

The Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive camera for Apple Vision Pro content is now available for pre-order with shipments expected in early 2025. The device was originally announced in June 2024 and is designed to be an end-to-end workflow solution for the Apple Immersive Video format used by the Apple Vision Pro headset, which combines 8K 3D video with a 180-degree field of view and Spatial Audio support. The Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive camera will let users record this format and edit it through DaVinci Resolve Studio, gaining native support for the video format in 2025.
