Blackmagic's New Camera System Set to Revolutionize Apple Immersive Video in 2025
Big updates are coming for Apple Immersive Video in 2025, thanks to new hardware and software from Blackmagic Design. Available to pre-order now, the URSA Cine Immersive camera system is designed specifically for capturing content for Apple's Vision Pro headset, while DaVinci Resolve is set to receive new immersive editing tools. Blackmagic has announced pre-orders for the first camera system designed to capture Apple Immersive Video, with deliveries expected in late Q1 2025. The Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive camera system is priced at $29,995 and features dual custom lenses, dual 8160 x 7200 sensors, and a massive 16 stops of dynamic range. DaVinci Resolve is also being updated in early 2025 with support for editing Immersive video.
