Bono Takes Center Stage in Apple’s First Full-Length Immersive Film for Vision Pro

Bono Documentary Announced for Apple TV+
Apple TV+ has unveiled a new documentary titled Bono: Stories of Surrender, set to stream globally on May 30, 2023. This documentary will also be available in an immersive 3D format for the Apple Vision Pro headset, marking it as the first feature-length film created specifically for this device.
The documentary features footage from Bono's 2022 stage show, which was inspired by his bestselling memoir Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story. It delves into Bono’s personal journey and includes performances of iconic U2 songs that have influenced his life. This project is the latest in a long-standing relationship between Apple and U2.
Stories of Surrender joins other notable music documentaries on Apple TV+, such as those featuring the Velvet Underground, Selena Gomez, and Billie Eilish. Another upcoming documentary about Fleetwood Mac has also been announced but does not have a release date yet.
While all Apple TV+ subscribers can access the 2D version of the film, the immersive 3D experience is exclusive to users with an Apple Vision Pro.
