Breaking Ground: Apple TV+ Studios Finally Take Shape in Culver City

Construction Begins on Delayed Apple TV+ Studios in Culver City
After a four-year delay, construction has finally commenced on two new production studios for Apple TV+. The company purchased 550,000 square feet of land along National, Venice, and Washington Boulevards in Culver City, Los Angeles, in October 2021. It took until 2023 to secure planning permission.
The site will consist of two buildings with a combined 536,000 square feet of office and production space, including a 1,200 vehicle car parking area. One building will be four stories tall, while the other will have five stories. Both structures will feature terrace decks on the upper floors.
The campus is expected to seat over 3,000 employees by 2026. Additionally, there are plans for a small park-like alcove of 58,000 square feet around the campus. Despite the expansion, recent reports indicate that Apple TV+ budgets are being cut due to financial losses.
