Budget-Packed: iPhone 16e Hits Doorsteps with Powerful A18 Chip and Innovative Features

The iPhone 16e, a budget-friendly smartphone from Apple, is now available for customers who preordered it. The device was opened for preorders on February 21, 2025, and one week later, it has started shipping to customers and can be picked up from Apple Stores, major retailers, and carriers. Unlike some previous launches, there doesn't seem to be a significant order backlog, making it likely that the iPhone 16e can be purchased directly from retail locations.
The smartphone is available in Black or White and comes with storage options of 128GB ($599), 256GB ($699), and 512GB ($899). It features a 6.1-inch OLED display, Face ID instead of the Home button with Touch ID, and a 48-megapixel camera capable of virtual 12MP telephoto shots. The iPhone 16e is powered by the A18 chip, making it the most affordable Apple device with Apple Intelligence support, which includes features like Writing Tools, Genmoji, Image Playground, summarizations, ChatGPT via Siri, and Visual Intelligence using the Action button.
