Apple TV+ is offering a free weekend on January 4-5, 2025 to attract more viewers. The service currently has a small fraction of the audience that Netflix and Disney+ have. New viewers can catch up on popular shows during this period such as "Silo", which just had its season finale on January 3, 2025. Apple TV+'s catalog is much smaller than its competitors with an estimated 139 shows and 69 movies in November 2023, compared to Netflix's 2,495 shows and almost 4,000 films. The service offers exceptional television but people may not be aware of it.
