OpenAI has released a major update for its native ChatGPT app on macOS, adding integration with third-party apps including Xcode. This allows users to ask ChatGPT to read content displayed in specific applications directly within the chatbot interface. The feature will initially be available only to paid subscribers and expands to more apps in the future. For privacy reasons, users can control at any time when and which apps ChatGPT can access.
