- Edge-to-Edge Design: Chrome 135 for Android is rolling out an edge-to-edge design at the bottom of the screen, making the navigation bar more immersive as you scroll.
- Dynamic Bottom Bar: A new 'dynamic bottom bar' or 'chin' is displayed over the gesture navigation area, which retracts as you scroll down, allowing web content to fill the entire screen.
- Initial Load and Scroll Up: The solid background remains visible at the top of the page on initial load and when scrolling up.
- Rollout: This update is being deployed via the Play Store and a separate server-side update, initially for small-screen devices with gesture navigation. Tablet support will follow later.
