- Chrome 135 (April 2025): Native support for third-party autofill services, including password managers.
- Delay Announcement (February 7, 2025): Due to feedback and bug fixes, the feature was delayed from an earlier version.
- Improved User Experience: The new update will eliminate janky scrolling and duplicate suggestions that were common in the previous compatibility mode.
- Settings Changes: Users can now enable third-party autofill services directly within Chrome settings.
- Chrome 131 (November 2024): Initial beta release with a flag to enable improved password manager support.
