Does Limiting iPhone Charging to 80% Really Extend Battery Life? The Answer May Surprise You
A German sister site of Macworld conducted a statistical analysis and found that limiting iPhone charging to 80% does indeed extend battery life, though the difference is not huge.

German site Macwelt conducted a statistical analysis to determine if limiting iPhone charging to 80% actually extends battery life. They collected data from iPhone 15 users who charged their devices to either 80% or 100%.
