Double Your Online Safety: Enable Chrome’s Enhanced Safe Browsing Today

Discover how turning on Chrome’s Enhanced Safe Browsing can double your protection against phishing and scams, safeguarding over 5 billion devices globally.

As part of Safer Internet Day, Google announced that over 1 billion Chrome users have enabled Safe Browsing’s Enhanced Protection mode. This feature uses advanced AI and machine learning to detect and protect against phishing, malware, scams, and other online threats across various Google services and third-party browsers, securing more than 5 billion devices. The Enhanced Protection mode offers several benefits, such as identifying URLs that mimic trusted domains and running deep scans of suspicious files. Users with this mode are twice as safe from phishing and scams compared to those using the standard protection. To enable it, navigate to Chrome Settings > Privacy and security > Security > Safe Browsing > Enhanced protection.
