Even Out Your Listening Experience with YouTube Music's New 'Consistent Volume' Feature
Say goodbye to volume jumps between songs with YouTube Music's new 'Consistent volume' feature, now rolling out on Android and iOS!

- YouTube Music is rolling out a new feature called “Consistent volume” for both Android and iOS devices. This feature, which normalizes the volume across different tracks, aims to reduce abrupt changes in sound levels that can be jarring for listeners.
- The feature has been a long-awaited addition by YouTube Music users and is similar to the 'Stable volume' feature introduced to the main YouTube app in October 2023. Unlike the main YouTube app where it can be toggled on/off through in-player settings, Consistent volume in YouTube Music is found under the Settings > Playback menu.
- The update is currently being rolled out and may not be available on all devices yet. It has been observed with version 8.15 for iPhone but is still missing on some Android devices. Additionally, this feature is not yet available on the web app.
