Experience Metallica Like Never Before: Apple Vision Pro's Immersive Concert Arrives
Apple is set to release a new immersive experience for the Apple Vision Pro headset titled 'Metallica.' Available from March 14, this content features high-resolution 180-degree video of three full songs—'Whiplash,' 'One,' and 'Enter Sandman'—from Metallica's M72 tour in Mexico City. The experience provides unprecedented access to the band members James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo through a unique stage layout with 14 Apple Immersive Video cameras capturing wide-angle and close-up shots. Tor Myhren, Apple's Vice President of Marketing and Communications, highlighted that this concert offers users a front-row experience as well as backstage and on-stage perspectives. The immersive content will be available in the Apple TV app at no cost to Vision Pro users and can also be experienced in Apple Store locations.
