First Look at iOS 19: Leaked Screenshot Reveals Subtle Yet Stylish Changes

According to a leaked screenshot and information from Bloomberg, Apple is working on a new interface for iOS 19 that will introduce elements inspired by visionOS, the operating system for the Apple Vision Pro. The redesign, however, may not be radically different from the current one. The changes include slightly redesigned buttons with a reflective glass effect in apps like Messages and updates to the virtual keyboard with more rounded edges. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has mentioned that iOS 19 and macOS 16 will mark the most significant interface upgrade in years. Apple last completely overhauled iOS in 2013 with iOS 7, and introduced slightly 3D icons in macOS Big Sur in 2020, which raised questions about a similar design update for iOS. The new interface is expected to be unveiled at WWDC 2025 on June 9.
