Fitbit App Now Preloaded on Oppo Find X8 Series, Could Become Standard on Future Android Phones
The Fitbit app might become a common sight on Android phones as more manufacturers choose to preload it on their devices, replacing Google Fit.
In a surprise move, Fitbit has replaced Google Fit as the default fitness application on Oppo's Find X8 series smartphones. This follows years of Google preloading their own apps like Gmail and YouTube onto Android devices - but now it appears third party services may be taking over from some of these. It is anticipated this change will become increasingly common over the not-too-distant future.
