Fitbit Refreshes Water Logging on Android with New Design and Navigation

Fitbit Updates Water Logging Feature on Android
Fitbit has introduced a major redesign of the Water logging feature for its Android app, aligning it with the modern aesthetics of other stats pages. The new interface includes four top tabs: Day, Week, Month, and Year, replacing the previous reverse-chronological list and chart views. The 'Quick Add For Today' option has been removed from the main page, which might be inconvenient for users who frequently log their water intake through this method. However, alternative options are available, such as using the floating action button (FAB) menu or app shortcuts.
The new 'Log water' screen, accessible via the FAB, offers default increments of 8 fl oz (Glass), 16 fl oz (Bottle), and 24 fl oz (Large bottle). Users can also enter a custom amount at the bottom and adjust the date above. This redesign is part of Fitbit's ongoing efforts to modernize its app interface and improve user experience, though some features are still in the process of being fully rolled out.
