Ford Enhances EV Experience with NACS Charger Integration in Apple Maps

Ford enhances Apple Maps with NACS charger integration for Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning, making electric vehicle routing smoother than ever.

Ford has integrated NACS (North American Charging Standard) chargers into Apple Maps for CarPlay, making it easier for electric vehicle (EV) owners to find charging stations along their routes. This feature is specifically available for the Ford Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning models that support Apple Maps EV Routing in CarPlay. Users will now see compatible Tesla Superchargers and other NACS fast-charging stations directly within Apple Maps, providing a more seamless experience without the need to switch between apps. The integration does not require any vehicle software updates and works with CarPlay and an iPhone running iOS 17 or later.
