Fortnite Makes Triumphant Return to iOS Devices in Multiple Regions Following Landmark Rulings

Epic Games has announced plans to bring Fortnite back to the iPhone and iPad in several regions, including Brazil, UK, and Japan, following recent antitrust rulings against Apple. In Brazil, a decision last fall declared Apple’s anti-steering policy illegal, requiring Apple to allow developers to link to their own websites for selling content and lift payment method restrictions. This marks one of Apple's largest defeats, with similar regulations being imposed in the European Union where Apple must support third-party marketplaces on iPhones and iPads. Fortnite has been unavailable in the App Store since Epic Games challenged Apple’s policies.
