The lack of full support comes as little surprise given slow adoption across Android devices. However, Samsung appears poised to offer an upgrade in wireless charging speeds from 15W to 25W within its own ecosystem even without fully embracing the Qi2 spec, matching speeds offered by Apple. While details are not fully clear yet, it seems like Samsung is likely to modify existing Qi specifications as needed for the Galaxy S25 series.
