Galaxy Watch 4 Receives Wear OS 5 Update: What's Next?

The Galaxy Watch 4, Samsung's first Wear OS smartwatch, is now receiving the One UI 6 Watch update with Wear OS 5 in at least one region.

Samsung has started rolling out the Wear OS 5 update for its Galaxy Watch 4 devices in Korea. This is the third major update since its launch, and according to previous communications from Samsung, it may receive one more major update (Wear OS 5.1) next year per their statement that these smartwatches would get 'up to' four years of updates.
