Galaxy Z Flip 7 Sees Minor Battery Boost with Slim 300mAh Upgrade

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 will feature a slightly larger battery at 4,300mAh, but the incremental improvement may not be enough to significantly enhance its overall battery life.

Galaxy Z Flip 7 Battery Improvement The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to feature a slightly larger battery compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 6. The new model will have a combined battery capacity of 4,300mAh, an increase of just 300mAh from the 4,000mAh of the previous model. This minor improvement is unlikely to significantly impact battery life, especially when compared to other devices making more substantial jumps in battery capacity.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 will have two batteries: a smaller one with a rated capacity of 1,189mAh and a larger one with a rated capacity of 2,985mAh. This configuration is consistent with previous models. The small increase in battery size may not be enough to meet the growing demand for longer-lasting devices.

In contrast, the upcoming Galaxy S26 is rumored to have a much larger battery capacity, potentially reaching 6,000mAh or more. This significant improvement highlights the disparity between different Samsung devices and suggests that while the Z Flip series is making incremental improvements, it may not be keeping pace with other high-end models.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 during the next Samsung Unpacked event in July.
