Gboard Dark Theme Update: Dynamic Color Splash Causes Distraction

The Gboard dark theme for Android has recently received an update which introduces a Dynamic Color splash to the button used to access various keyboard tools when in dark mode. This change brings uniformity between light and dark modes, theming the button with the same background as other keys, such as the enter key or the '?123' button. Although this is a minor aesthetic change aimed at highlighting the button's functionality, some users may find it distracting at first until they adjust to the new look. This Dynamic Color button in dark mode is currently being rolled out across all devices running the latest Gboard beta (14.4.08.x) while stable channel remains unchanged.
