Geekbench Leaks Reveal iPhone 16e’s Performance and RAM: Is It Worth Upgrading?

The first Geekbench listing for what appears to be the iPhone 16e has emerged, revealing key details about its performance and specifications. The iPhone 16e is confirmed to have 8GB of RAM, which is necessary for Apple Intelligence, a feature included in the new model. The device is equipped with an A18 chip featuring a 6-core CPU and 4 GPU cores, resulting in a slight drop in graphics performance compared to the iPhone 16, which has 5 GPU cores. However, this difference is not expected to significantly impact real-world usage. The benchmarks also suggest that the iPhone 16e will be much faster and more responsive than the last iPhone SE model. Additionally, a Chinese regulatory filing indicates that the iPhone 16e supports up to 29W charging. While the battery life under regular use is not revealed by the benchmarks, Apple claims that the new model has a significantly longer battery life compared to the previous iPhone SE range.
